RIP Chad Everett

After  weeks of dealing with several of my own employees who don't seem to "get it", I stumbled across this. It was a good reminder that there are people everywhere that do get it.

That is really sweet. It's awesome that he embraced his fan like that. Unfortunately, I'm sure there are plenty of actors that wouldn't be so open. RIP, indeed.

It was sweet. And for me personally, I love that both our "old Dean" and our "young Dean" have ties to a community that is near and dear to my heart.

You're welcome! I wish more people were like this too! It floors me that I have so many people that work in my field that don't get how to treat someone different them as human being. They don't last long at my company, that's for sure.

*hugs back*

That is fantastic. What a sweet man to do that for such a big fan. He'll most definitely be missed.

It's really a shame that your employees don't "get it". Hopefully they figure it out or you can replace them soon with someone who does

It is wonderful and he will be missed. It is nice to know that both our "old Dean" and our "young Dean" get it and have ties to a community that is near and dear to my heart.

Yeah, several people have lost their jobs recently and between that and opening another new home (two this summer-yikes!), I have been on a hiring frenzy this week!

It's actually kind of awesome--though definitely hectic--that they're opening more homes! Normally around here the problem is that homes (that were full with long long waiting lists) are closing and there's nowhere for people to go, so even with all the craziness that goes with it the fact that more are opening where you are is amazing!

Yes, we are opening new homes. But we specialize in things many others won't do. We focus on medical needs which is a growing area.
